Merger of IT Service Providers: Milan Industries and DWM Solutions
Melbourne, Australia – 18th August, 2020 – Milan Industries and DWM Solutions, both long-standing IT Partners, recently announced news of their merger, effective immediately. The new dynamic business offers clients a reliable multi-national SMB and valuable mid-market service provider for IT support. Both companies are trusted leaders in their field, customising the use of innovative technologies and advanced IT solutions to satisfy each client’s unique needs.
DWM Solutions was founded by Nick and Jeni Clift in 2002. As a family-owned and run IT service provider, DWM helps businesses succeed by providing IT Managed Services, Business Continuity Plans, Data Security and IT Consultancy. In keeping with their name (DWM stands for “Don’t Worry Mate”), clients are assured comprehensive and dependable technological support from an IT partner with a proven track record of complete customer satisfaction.
Established by Milan Rajkovic in 2004, Milan Industries has headquarters in Melbourne and provides full coverage of all IT services, including assisting businesses to network globally. They offer Managed IT, Business Continuity Solutions, IT Security, Managed Hosting, Guaranteed Internet Services and Cloud Phones. They specialise in custom-designed plans to help companies flourish by embracing digital transformation and lowering their costs.
In particular, the union of two IT Partners leverages synergies such as strong industry relationships with world-class key vendors, including Microsoft, Datto, Dell, 8X8 and Sophos. Additionally, services will operate under the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework, thereby maximising the professional growth and development of the new company. The post-merger goal is to strengthen the level of all professional services, optimising the overall client experience.
More than 30 expert employees will work from seven offices located across the entire APAC region, continuing to focus on the industries of Accounting, Architecture, Not-For-Profit/Charity, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Legal, Health and Local Government. A firm dedication to servicing all country regions will be demonstrated by a push to expand with new regional office locations.
“With multiple sites all over the state, we are looking to extend our reach throughout Victoria,” says Milan Rajkovic, Managing Director of the previous Milan Industries.
In terms of client industry experience, DWM Solutions and Milan Industries, respectively, bring distinct practical expertise and complementary skill sets to the partnership, enabling them to provide diverse benefits. Additionally, their combined reach in metro and country regions adds significant value.
“An unyielding commitment to the regional staff, locations and clients of DWM Solutions is and always will remain the core of DWM Solutions,” says Nick Clift, Managing Director of DWM Solutions. “By joining forces with Milan Industries, our ability to support our regional clients with cloud services, hosting, telecommunications and all their business needs will be strengthened,” says Clift.
Milan & Nick will lead the combined business, Milan focusing on Technical strategy and direction, and Nick managing strategic relationships. At this point, no decision has been made yet regarding the combined entity’s future branding. As the integration is staged and completed, all business will be conducted seamlessly over the coming months.
“Having founded Milan Industries whilst I was a student studying at Northcote High School, I’m proud of what we’ve been able to build over the last 16 years. I’m really excited by what the future holds for both businesses,” says Rajkovic.
Following the merger, the Head Office will be located in Northcote, VIC, with numerous branch offices located in Moonee Ponds, Echuca, Bendigo, Geelong and Shepparton, VIC, as well as in Tocumwal, NSW, and Manila, Philippines.
“For years, we had big visions for DWM. When Nick & I co-founded DWM in regional Victoria, we always knew that being outside of the major metro area would challenge our vision,” says Jeni. “In 2017, we made the move back to Melbourne after 20 years in Echuca. Since then, we’ve been searching for the perfect business to join with – a business that shared our vision and our values. Now, we’re confident and excited that merging with Milan Industries is the right way forward for all of us!”
